Gortons Fisherman's Friday Sweepstakes Giveaway with Four Normal Chicks!

My family was provided with 2 free product coupons from Gorton's to participate in a review and a giveaway of 3 envelopes of 2 free product coupons of your own!

I was SUPER EXCITED to be a part of this, because I LOVE supporting local companies, and not only is Gorton's local (REALLY REALLY LOCAL) Gorton's supports sustainability which is not only something I strive for, and hope to achieve as much as I can, as a resident of Massachusetts, and having lived here all my life, and on the coast, this effects my daily life, so, it is something I GREATLY appreciate and am VERY thankful for.

The products my family chose were the Classic Crispy Battered Fillet's and the Popcorn Shrimp!
The Classic Crispy Battered Fillet's went over like gangbusters! I will admit, though I am a foodie I have NEVER made fish before! The boys were SUPER HAPPY to have fish in the house!
These were BETTER than the Fish and Chips that you would get at a Family Restaurant for a minimum of $9.99 a plate, I made this for about $2.20 a serving, and I used Legal Seafood Tartar Sauce, remember, I am in Massachusetts, so, that is saying something!
The Classic Crispy Battered Fillet's were tender, flaky, crispy and DELICIOUS! (note to self, DO NOT USE TONGS TO TURN THEM!)
The second entree my family chose was the Popcorn Shrimp, this would have been great on it's own with cocktail sauce, but, I dare to be different and put my OWN twist on this classic.
My 13 year old son made Shrimp Scampi with it, my family loved it and there were NO LEFTOVERS!
I walked him through the process, and I was NOT allowed in the kitchen during the process. Seriously, it is THAT easy!
I had him smash 4 cloves of Garlic
4 TBSP of Olive Oil
2 TSP nature's seasoning
about 12 leaves of fresh basil cut into ribbons
1 LB linguine
leave this while the pasta (cooked to package instructions, though, I prefer a little al dente')
reserve 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water from cooking the pasta to toss in with the linguine
put this in a covered bowl, and toss occasionally while the shrimp is cooking according to package instructions

Josh used 1/2 bag of shrimp, we were feeding 3 people. This worked out to be about $1.50 per serving.
Okay, so now I showed you what my family LOVED about Gorton's, let me tell you what else they offer, as you can see, Gorton's isn't all about fish sticks!
Gorton's offers SO MUCH MORE! I think the Grilled Shrimp would have been really tasty in this dish as well, however, I wanted to show you something a little different. This could be a VERY healthy dish with the grilled shrimp, olive oil and garlic have been proven too be very healthful, so whatever you decide you would like, Gorton's has it. If you don't have time to make this dish, The other side of Gorton's has already prepared Shrimp Scampi and Lemon Shrimp Scampi!
I was looking at the Skillet Crisp in the store, but, boys will be boys they went for the classics, but, doesn't this look delicious?
So now, here is YOUR chance to try a couple of these products, and even if you don't win, they are a very economical, and delicious!
Open only to US as the products are only available in the US
