BluApple Review

With the price of gasoline going up, unfortunately, so are the prices of food. I don't know about you, but I hate spending more money on food just to have it go to waste before I have the chance to use it or eat it because it is spoiled.

BluApple may just be the solution we need in our produce drawers or baskets at home to help prolong the life of our costly produce items.

I was given the opportunity to try this item at home and was excited with the results!  The product is super easy to use. Just remove BluApple from the packaging and place in your produce drawer in your fridge or stick it in your fruit basket.  They say for best results, stick your produce in a paper sack with the blue apple and then close the bag to keep the gasses and air from the produce contained with the BluApple, but I noticed a longer life span on my bananas just by having the blue apple sitting under my bananas on the counter.  You know normally bananas last a few days after you buy them, but with BluApple, mine lasted over a week and a half before they became to mushy to consume or get tossed in the freezer for this winter's banana bread.

 Why does BluApple work so well?  Ethylene gas is given off naturally by fruits and vegetables to coordinate the ripening process.  The continual release of Ethylene speeds up the ripening and eventually leads to spoilage. BluApple is designed to absorb the Ethylene gases for up to 3 months. Once absorption has reached capacity, use the absorption granules as fertilizer (its natural!) and replace a new absorption packet within your BluApple.
