DefenderPad Review

As a blogger, I am always on my laptop (more than my husband would like, that is for sure)! Because my laptop is powered up so much, it tends to get really hot and at times, and has shut itself off to prevent further overheating, which can be very frustrating when I am trying to work on a post.

I was given the opportunity to try and review a new product (new to me anyway), called the DefenderPad.  The DefenderPad is advertised as "...the most sophisticated laptop radiation and heat shield ever developed...(it)virtually eliminates Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs) / Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR), Radio Frequency (RF) Radiation and Heat Radiation emitted by laptops as well tablets and other modern electronic devices."  We all know that radiation is not healthy, as it leads to certain types of cancers, and even lower sperm levels in men. So anything we can do extra to protect ourselves right?

Well DefenderPad, you had me at "heat shield"! This product is super light weight, and easy to use. Just stick it under your electronic device (my laptop for example). It's a stylish product, coming in a slim, black model so it won't look ugly on your desk or lap! Normally after a few hours of use on my laptop, my device would be on borderline shut down mode and would be hot to the touch. With DefenderPad in place, my laptop is mildly warm after being on for 4 hours now. As I lift up my laptop, the bottom is slightly warm but if I place my hand directly on the DefenderPad where the laptop lay, I can feel that the pad is significantly warmer than the laptop, as it has seemed to absorbed most of the heat as the product claimed. I am no scientist, but it appears the product does work as it claims! As far as the radiation defense, I have no way of testing that, so I will just have to take their word for it.

To learn more about DefenderPad, you can visit their website, or find them on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.
