Deodorant vs Antiperspirant
Of the two types of sweat glands only the apocrine glands secrete the "smelly" sweat. The two most common products to prevent that smell are deodorants and antiperspirants - and YES, there is a difference between them. While both contain chemicals that, when accumulated in excess, can be harmful to humans, each use a different mechanism to reduce body odor. Deodorants are usually alcohol-based & reduce body odor by temporarily killing the bacteria that causes the odor. Antiperspirants, on the other hand, are almost always aluminum-based & designed to create a physical plug that prevents sweat from reaching the skin's surface.

Here are my thoughts on the product:
Although I am not a huge fan of roll-ons (I just don't like the "wet" feeling), I must say that their roll-on is not so bad. I did have the "wet" feeling for a few minutes but then I was fine. Their product did keep me fresh all day! They also have the cream form of deodorant/antiperspirant. Although I personally didn't care for the cream (was just too weird for me), my husband loved it! It kept him fresh and not smelling like a man all day! Would I recommend Deodo Mom? Yes, especially if you love organic products that work!
