St. Patty's Day themed recipe! :)

Ok, so originally I had planned on trying something a little different but with some mishaps of getting the wrong items and just totally misplacing my brain today it seems (Just one of those days!!) I ended with the following which is just simple and easy yet still neat!

I don't have a set "name" for this so just going to go with St. Patty's day pudding! Seems to work right? Yea I think so too! The following are the ingredients that you will need.

2 packages of instant vanilla pudding (The ones that serve 4 or Pistachio flavor can be used also which will eliminate the need for the green food coloring!)
3 1/2 cups milk
Cool Whip 8oz tub
Oreos (Any kind, but I used the cool mint kind for added green)
1 tsp Food coloring (Green)
*Any decorative items you want like sprinkles or anything like that in a St. Patty's/green theme (*Optional)

Here is some pictures of what food coloring I used and the decorative sprinkles and my cool mint Oreos! Don't have any of my pudding mix or cool whip but any vanilla or pistachio instant pudding mix will work just make sure to get the one that serves 4 and on the cool whip just get an 8 oz tub!

So first you will start with pouring your milk into a medium sized bowl and add 1 tsp of your green food coloring and stir. Then add in your pudding packages and stir with a whisk until nice and smooth and set that aside let it sit for about 5 minutes. You will then slowly fold in your cool whip. You want to make sure you get it mixed well so that your color spreads good. Then pour into whatever bowl you will be serving out of. (For me I just used a glass bowl as you will see in the picture to follow.) :) Then I took some green sprinkles and put on top followed by some Oreos around the side and one in the middle! (You can add more or do less whatever works best for you!) I am going to let my kids use the Oreos to dip into the pudding and eat that way. Needless to say they are pretty excited. Voila you are done! That's right easy peasy and quick too!

Of course if you want something more unique you can always just crush up the Oreos and do layers or crushed Oreo and then pudding which is a little different but still easy! There are always ways to tweak things to make them your own or more to what you are wanting so feel free to add away and change some things up to what suits your wants/needs!
