I am an abuse victim. A shelter in my area saved me from that life and helped get me back on my feet 7 years ago. Ever since then I have been a volunteer there and I have seen them help countless women and children regain their freedom and get on the right path. Now this shelter that has helped so many is in need of our help. They are having to turn women away because they cannot afford to take any more in.
