Walgreen Wednesday 6/1/11

So, this week, my plan was to stock up on any household needs to tide me over for a couple weeks.  My daughter is going in for surgery next week and I don't want to have to worry if I have enough toilet paper or kleenex or vitamins or anything along those lines  Remember I still have my $6.50 in RR from last week to use.  Here is what I did:


Transaction #1

2 Colgate Max Toothpaste
1 Icy Hot Naturals Cream

After Coupons I spent $2.99 out of pocket (I did not use my RR yet).  I also got $2.99 back in RR on this order.


Transaction #2

1 Angel Soft Toilet Paper 9 roll
3 Puffs tissues
2 Oxy Clean Laundry products
2 Smuckers Jelly (Strawberry of course!)
1 Flintstone Gummy Vitamins
3 boxes of Fruit Loops Cereal
12 candy bars (this was NOT planned but it was on sale and well chocolate helps calm nerves while Aimee is in surgery right?!?!?)

After coupons and RR I paid $21.32 out of pocket.  I also got 2 catalinas ($3 off Tums and $1.50 off Always).  Overall I think combined it was a 62% savings.  Not totally fabulous, but if you think of it, technically the first order was free!  That sells me right there! :-)
