Crisproots Review

I have shared with my readers that my husband has developed a Gluten Allergy.  As if it isn't hard enough to keep snacks in the house, it is ridiculous at times to even find a snack that is Gluten Free that my husband will actually eat.

I jumped at the chance to review for Crisproot.  Crisproot are the makers of a Gluten Free Cassava Root snack chip.  Flavors available come in Original, Sea Salt, BBQ Bliss, and Thai Ginger.  All chips, as stated above, are Gluten Free, offer more fiber than regular potato chips, and have up to 30% less fat than other snack chips as well.  How are they gluten free? These unique chips come from the exotic Cassava Root that is native to South America but is also found in Asia and Africa and is a major energy source to over 800 million people world wide.

My husband has a wider food pallet than I (yes I admit I am picky too when it comes to food), so I was almost scared to try this product.  But you know what? I am still alive and typing this review, so it didn't kill me!  The chips are manufactured to look similar to those "Wavy" chips you see in the chip isle.  My favorite from Crisproot is the Sea Salt.  They taste very similar to the "Wavy" chips and are excellent when dipped in a ranch dip!  My husband's vote went toward the Original flavor.  Those chips were flavored with a touch of garlic seasoning and reminded him of the Chex Mix flavor. Drooling yet? If you are, head over to the Crisproot website and check them out for yourself to find them in a store near you.  They are way yummy!
